Packaged sewage treatment plants for small towns, regional communities, accommodation villages, mine operations areas and remote townsites. Built and fully factory-tested before dispatch.
A WWS modular plant is a complete package: process tanks, aeration, controls, switchgear, pumps and pipework, built in modules, wired and plumbed, and tested before it leaves the factory.
The plants are designed for reliability, safety and ease of operation with minimum operator interface. Design attention goes to safety, maintenance reduction, simplification and hazard removal. WWS provides ongoing technical support, remote monitoring and operator training.
Known for reliability and ease of operation, the SBR system is the most widely installed WWS process. It is an activated sludge sequencing batch reactor with extended aeration, built on the Modified Ludzac-Ettinger (MLE) process, so the plant operates across a wide range of loadings.
Sequencing batch reactors are built in modular form in the WWS manufacturing facility. The modular design reduces site construction time and allows factory testing of all mechanical and electrical parts before shipping. This plant type is installed at many sites throughout Australia.
The SBR package includes design and ‘as built’ drawings, operator training, an operation and maintenance manual, a manufacturer data report, and ongoing technical support.
Where site area is limited, or the effluent is to be re-used, WWS builds membrane bio reactor plants. The membrane is a 0.03 micron PVDF ultrafiltration hollow fibre system with automated backwashing. It is a physical barrier to suspended solids, bacteria and other pathogens, and its pore size distribution is narrow, giving high permeability.
The modules require minimal space and remove the need for secondary clarification. Final effluent is “A grade” quality, which can be re-used for landscape reticulation.
Fixed film process suitable for smaller applications. Units vary in size up to 50,000 L/day.
Every aspect of the design, procurement, manufacture, assembly and testing of these plants is carried out in accordance with the Waste Water Services quality management system, which is accredited to ISO 9001:2015.
From the project record. Every plant below was factory acceptance tested before dispatch. Each entry carries its rated capacity, commissioning date and operational status.
Send the duty, the site and the discharge requirement. You will get a response from an engineer, with a reference plant of similar size where one exists.
