Water treatment plant design, manufacture and support since 1996
Waste Water Services was established in 1996 to supply waste water equipment and services to mining and industry. It is now part of the Vysarn Group.
What WWS does
WWS provides design, manufacturing and asset maintenance services for waste water treatment and pumping systems, principally for mineral resources and oil and gas operations. The scope covers concept design through to project commissioning, then operation and maintenance.
Each solution is designed to the customer's requirements. Every project runs under a quality management plan, safety management plan, human resources plan and environmental management plan, with an administration team handling contract, safety, quality and document control.
The design focus on every project is modularisation. This minimises on-site assembly time and allows full in-house testing of equipment before it ships. Each design targets safety, quality assurance, reliability and ease of operation.

Concept design to operation
The WWS scope is written to carry through the operating life of the plant. Most of the plants on the project record are still in service.
Design
Process design to the actual influent and the actual discharge limit, with the calculations, drawings and manuals that go with it.
Manufacture
Built in modules in the WWS facility, so the plant is assembled by the people who designed it.
Factory test
Mechanical and electrical equipment is factory acceptance tested before dispatch. This is standard on WWS plants, not an option.
Install & commission
The WWS technical team installs and commissions, on a modularised design that minimises site construction time.
Operate & maintain
Scheduled servicing, auditing, remote monitoring, upgrades, spares and consumables for the life of the asset.
Train
Accredited trainers, a package tailored to the client, formal assessment and a certificate of competency for successful operators.

Manufacturing facility
The head office and manufacturing facility is at 7 Success Way, Henderson WA 6166, in the Australian Marine Complex precinct south of Fremantle. The precinct is a heavy-industry and fabrication area with road, rail and port access.
Design, fabrication, electrical assembly, testing and the spares store are under the same roof. This is what allows full factory acceptance testing before a plant is loaded for dispatch.
Modular, factory-tested plant is shippable, so the same facility serves the Pilbara, the Goldfields, the east coast and New Zealand.
Management systems
The management plans cover manufacturing, assembling and testing treatment plants for remote and regional areas, and operating them once they are installed.
Quality
Every aspect of the design, procurement, manufacture, assembly and testing of these plants is carried out under the Waste Water Services quality management system. WWS holds accreditation to ISO 9001:2015 for quality, ISO 14001:2015 for environment and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety.
Health & safety
The Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan covers manufacturing, assembling and testing treatment plants for remote and regional areas. On site, an attendant safety supervisor manages pre-start meetings, safety reviews and regular safety, health and hygiene inspections.
Hazards are designed out where possible. On the Fallsafe pump station, an elevated inspection cover removes the open hole at ground level and eliminates the requirement for confined space work.
Environment
The Environmental Management Plan covers installing and operating equipment in remote and regional areas. A treatment plant is an environmental control, and a non-compliant discharge is its primary failure mode.

More than 140 plants delivered since 1996
The plants documented on this site are small town, regional community, mine-site, port and industrial plants, mostly for Tier 1 iron ore and gold operations across the Pilbara, Goldfields, Mid West and Kimberley. Each entry carries the capacity, commissioning date and operational status as recorded.

Leadership
[FILL – CONTENT-TODO #6] Leadership section pending client input. Supply names, roles and a one-line background for the people a procurement or study manager should know: typically the General Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations/Service Manager and QHSE Manager. Headshots optional; a name, a role and a line of relevant experience is enough, and is what Tier 1 vendor qualification actually asks for. Nothing has been invented here.
