Water treatment & pumping systems since 1996

Modular waste water and potable water treatment. Designed, built and supported for remote and regional operations across Australia and New Zealand.

Waste Water Services designs, manufactures, installs, commissions, operates and maintains treatment and pumping systems, from concept design to commissioning and through the operating life of the plant. Plants are built and fully factory-tested before dispatch, and arrive as a package to be connected and operated.

Track record

More than 140 plants delivered since 1996

The 44 documented on this site went almost entirely to Tier 1 iron ore and gold operations: accommodation villages, mine operations areas and port facilities. On those sites a non-compliant discharge is a reportable event and a plant outage affects the accommodation the same day.

Every one was factory acceptance tested before dispatch.

Why modular

Why the plant is modular

Modularised design minimises site construction time, and the cost and exposure that go with extended work in remote and regional locations.

  1. Tested before it ships

Mechanical and electrical equipment is assembled and factory acceptance tested before dispatch. Faults are found in the workshop, not on site.

  2. Less time on site

Short site construction windows reduce the hours spent around excavations, cranes and live services, and reduce accommodation, travel and standby costs.

  3. Hazards designed out

Safety is engineered in at the design stage. The Fallsafe pump station removes the open hole and the confined space entry rather than managing them by procedure.

  4. Shippable by road, rail or sea

A plant built for delivery to the Pilbara can be delivered to Queensland, the Northern Territory or New Zealand.
